Okay, so it’s a new year, the time most people set a determination or two to increase their wellbeing.
It’s not the easiest thing to set and keep a new positive habit, so here are some sage words from the habit-meister James Clear to help you get back on track when you fall off the wagon.
And some wisdom from me, too!
“It only takes five minutes to break the [vicious] cycle.
Five minutes of exercise and you are back on the path.
Five minutes of writing and the manuscript is moving forward again.
Five minutes of conversation and the relationship is restored.
It doesn’t take much to feel good again.”
And from me to you, with my very best wishes for this year and far beyond:
You may think it’s the number of times that you fall down that break you. In truth, it’s the number of times you get back up and try again that make you!
